7 ASIA PACIFIC PRIMARY CARE RESEARCH CONFERENCE
THEME: ENGAGING PATIENT IN RESEARCH
27 - 29 June 2019
Bayview Hotel, Georgetown Penang
It is my honour and privilege, after the success of the previous six Asia Pacific Primary Care Research Conferences (APPCRC), to be the Organizing Chair for the 7th APPCRC 2019.
The conference is proud to announce the theme of "Engaging Patient in Research and Innovation", which will be held 27th to 29th of June 2019 in the Pearl of the Oriental, Penang Island, Malaysia. Both the theme and conference presentations are relevant and timely in today's ever-changing research environment.
This biennial conference brings together clinicians, educators and researchers, as well as students from around the Asia Pacific, providing them with a platform to report on, and discuss issues and scientific achievements relative to primary health care in this region. This year's conference will provide a foundation for networking with prominent research leaders from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
The conference promises to be exciting, with a range of innovative topics related to complex intervention, mixed methods, vulnerable populations and digital health in primary care. The pre-conference highlight is the one and only intensive mentoring research championship workshop for the novice researchers. Lastly, there will be competitive awards and recognition for the best research projects for all.
I want to take this opportunity to encourage your attendance and participation in this unique conference in the field of primary care.
