Foreword
This bibliography offers a database of research in primary care in Malaysia with a comprehensive overview of various projects conducted between 1966 and 2003. The subject covers various clinical and non-clinical areas in primary care.
This document serves as an important reference material for primary care researchers, health care professionals, educationists, students, policymakers and others. It provides easy access to the background literature of original scholarly research conducted in Malaysia, over a period of almost four decades. Based on the information available, new areas of research interests can be identified and pursued to further strengthen the research armamentarium in the expanding field of primary care.
This is one of the more comprehensive collections of bibliography of primary care research in Malaysia. I hope this project will be extended to encompass a bibliography of other relevant research projects pertaining to health that are conducted in Malaysia and hopefully this information will be made accessible, via the web, for the benefit of both local and international researchers.
